OUR POLICY

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

We are not required by law to offer any refund on change of mind purchases - although as we understand you are unable to try on any clothing before you buy online, we are happy to exchange clothing items for a credit note voucher on the strict condition that it is:

  • Within 14 days of purchase.
  • The product is unworn, unwashed and in original condition.
  • Must have all tags still attached.
  • Receipt must be included with the return.

Once your return is received at our warehouse you will be issued with a credit note voucher via email, which will allow you to repurchase any item of your choice.

​​We do not offer exchange or refund on sale items, surfboards or accessories e.g., beach bags, jewellery, towels, fins, tail pads, surf accessories, etc. except in the case of a manufacturing fault.

​​Unfortunately we cannot refund or exchange any swimwear.​

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Need to return an item for exchange?

You can obtain a credit note voucher for your online purchase by sending it back to our head office via the post or by visiting us at our Warrnambool store.

Please contact us at online@thesurfco.com.au to arrange a return and to confirm that your return will be valid.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Once the item has been received and authorised for return your credit note voucher will be processed.

Faulty Items

​​If you have a faulty item that you would like refunded, repaired or replaced, please contact us at online@thesurfco.com.au for further action.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund on a faulty item yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at online@thesurfco.com.au.

Shipping & Delivery

Purchasers may opt to collect items from our Warrnambool store at 136 Koroit Street at no extra charge.​​​​ Please select the "Click & Collect" option at check out. Your order will be processed, prepared and we will E-mail you when your order is ready for collection. We aim to have your item/s available on the same day but will advise you if we need to make other arrangements.

As we are a small business located outside of a major city, all purchases will incur a postage charge based on purchasers location and value of goods. 

Orders placed before 12pm AEST will be dispatched same day.

When making an Express Shipping purchase with us please keep in mind:
We are outside of the next day delivery network with Australia Post so your parcel will be delivered as fast as possible but may not be delivered the next day.

Unfortunately we can't ship to other unlisted countries outside of Australia at this time.

All items are sent via registered mail with Australia Post and may require a signature on delivery. ​​Delivery times may vary but we expect no longer than 7 business days. A confirmation E-mail will be sent to you once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse. The confirmation E-mail will include a tracking number for your convenience and peace of mind.
